Alfred State’s William Dean, professor in the Department of Architecture and Design, and Jonathan Hilsher, director of the Center for Civic Engagement, recently presented their jointly authored paper titled “Generating Discipline-Based Community Impact through Academic and Student Affairs Collaboration” as part of the 105th ACSA Annual Meeting in Detroit.

Alfred State’s new Micro-Nano Fabrication Laboratory is one very big addition to the college’s Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology Department.

Susan Gorman, an adjunct instructor in Alfred State’s Business Department, noted that this initiative is part of an applied learning project her strategic marketing class is undertaking.

As he looked through the brochures he was holding, Anthony Harvey liked what he was seeing: information about a college of technology that offered more than 70 hands-on majors and paths to a brighter future.

Alfred State sport management students recently attended the inaugural Niagara University Sport, Recreation, & Tourism Summit.

Even before graduation, Alfred State is providing guidance for architecture students to gain professional licensure.
