Mail Deliveries
Mail is delivered to buildings once a day, usually between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Department mailbags should be ready for pickup at 10:30 a.m.
Incoming Mail
Incoming mail should have the employee’s name and department to avoid delays in mail processing.
Outgoing mail preparation
Mail to be metered should be separated from intra-campus mail.
International mail should be separated from all other mail.
Sealed and unsealed envelopes should be kept separate.
Unsealed envelopes should be bundled together with envelope flaps down.
If your envelope does not have your department printed on it, please provide account number. Departments with multiple account numbers should indicated account number to be used.
All over-sized envelopes must be sealed.
Envelopes that contain paper clips or binder clips cannot be mailed.
Personal Mail
Employees should not be receiving personal mail or packages on campus.
Forwarding Policy
Mail for employees who have left the college will be delivered to the employee’s former department where staff will be responsible for distributing the mail by either: returning it to sender, forwarding it to the former employee, forwarding it to another employee, or recycling the mail piece.
