The Alfred State College campus includes 14 residence halls with corridor, suite and apartment style living options. You can choose from a variety of housing options ranging from our academic or program-based living learning communities or traditional lifestyle options such as quiet study or substance free. These lifestyles are in designated areas within specific residence halls.
Become an Resident Assistant (RA)
Resident Assistants (RAs) are student staff members employed by the Office of Residential Services. Resident Assistants help build community by connecting students to campus resources such as the Cultural Life Center or Student Development Center, educational and social programming, and community meetings. RAs also receive regular training focusing on campus policies and procedures to support students going through a variety of difficulties.
