Enrollment deposit deadline extended to June 1

We understand that the impact of COVID-19 may make it difficult to provide your deposit by May 1, so we have extended the deadline to June 1. Paying the deposit saves a place for you in your major and in the residence hall if living on campus. It also secures any scholarships you may have been awarded. If you have questions, or are experiencing a severe financial hardship preventing you from paying the deposit, please contact Admissions.

Jump in and make the most of your Alfred State experience!

We’re so glad you decided to continue your education at Alfred State! Now that you have been accepted, please be sure to check your Alfred State email on a regular basis. Updates and important information on financial aid and billing, orientation, course registration, and more, are being sent to you at your email address. Be sure to login to Bannerweb for a checklist of items that need to be completed before classes start.

The links below will help you to finalize your college plans. The packet you receive from our Admissions Office will include directions for filling out your Housing Preference Survey. If you are interested in the Living Learning Community, and are a baccalaureate- or associate-degree-seeking student in the School of Architecture, Management, and Engineering Technology or School of Arts and Sciences, answer “yes” to question #2 on that survey.

Be prepared for the first day of class. Review the list of math courses that require specific calculators and laptops required per major. Laptops and calculators are available through the Campus Store. Students who are required to have tools for applied technology programs will have an opportunity to meet with tool vendors during summer orientation.
