The menu will include Caribbean conch chowder, clams, oysters, mussels, calamari, crab stuffed mushrooms, smoked salmon, crab legs, shrimp, fried fresh cod, and more.

Utica General Peterbilt donated a PACCAR engine to Alfred State in the fall semester, and Joe Morrison, a fleet service manager, recently visited the School of Applied Technology campus in Wellsville to provide students with training on the engine.

As a result of valued partnerships with a number of companies and organizations, Alfred State College (ASC) is able to provide unique hands-on learning experiences and real-world equipment that can help turn students into job-ready workers once they graduate. 

The menu will include jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp etouffee, southern-fried chicken, red beans and rice, muffuletta and po’boy sandwiches, collard greens, king cake, pecan pralines, beignets, and more.

Motorcycle and power sports technology students now have access to the same training and certification programs offered to Polaris dealers.

Masonry students have been hard at work cooking up something special for the School of Applied Technology, particularly the Culinary Arts Department.

Alfred State is pleased to announce that the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) has granted its automotive service technician program a five-year reaccreditation at the highest level NATEF offers – Master  Automobile Service Technology.

The project involves the efforts of students in numerous programs, including building trades: building construction; masonry; heavy equipment operations; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; and electrical construction and maintenance electrician.

During the college’s Festa Italiana dinner, Turner donated $5,000 to the veterans group. In addition to Turner’s generosity, the Culinary Art Department’s fundraiser dinner, bake sale, and donation jar from that day raised roughly $4,000 for the organization.
