Matt DiRado, Jeff Hellwig, and Andrea Williamson were named the recipients of the Advising Excellence award at Alfred State’s annual Recognition Celebration.

Alfred State’s Kathy Bliss and Debra Tomm have received Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. Bliss was honored with the award for Faculty Service while Tomm was honored for Classified Service.

Alfred State College (ASC) assistant professor of global and diversity studies Angela Graves has been named the 2022 Student Advocate Award winner.

Dr. Richard Kellogg, professor emeritus of psychology at Alfred State College, is the author of a new book titled “Barry Baskerville's Fishing Adventure” (Airship 27, 2022).

The Alfred State College (ASC) Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department recently held a successful Showmanship Competition at the college farm. Students showcased horses, goats, and dairy cows.

The Forensic Science Education Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) has granted the Alfred State College (ASC) forensic science technology program a second 5-year full accreditation. 

Alfred State College (ASC) will receive a two-year multi-campus grant with UB’S School of Nursing to increase enrollment and address emerging trends in nursing education, eventually increasing medical services in underserved populations.

Alfred State College (ASC) students Emma Bower (Fillmore) and Halimat Akanbi (Ozone Park) have won the 2022 Vanguard Award. The NET (Nontraditional Employment & Training) program presents the Vanguard Award annually.
