Lady Pioneers fall to Genesee

The Alfred State College softball team dropped both games in a WNYAC doubleheader at Genesee CC on Thursday. The Lady Pioners fell 7-2 and 16-1 to fall to 8-12 overall on the year.
Feldman Honored with Killian Award of Excellence

Lax climbs into NJCAA Poll

The Alfred State College lacrosse team has jumped in to the NJCAA national poll for the first time in 2008. The Pioneers are currently ranked #10.
Men Remain 5th, Women ranked 8th in latest poll

The Alfred State College track and field teams remain in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll. The men's team remains ranked #5 while the women slipped down to #8 after being ranked #6 last week.
ASC Will Celebrate 100th Birthday, Thursday, May 8

Alfred State College will celebrate its 100th birthday on Thursday, May 8, 2008, with a day-long schedule of events to be held on the Alfred campus.
Beginning at 11 a.m., the campus community will dedicate a "centennial bench" overlooking the academic quad.
Kiddie Ag Day Scheduled for May 8

Hundreds of local school children and their teachers will visit Alfred State College during its annual Kiddie Ag Day celebration sponsored by the faculty, staff, and agriculture students at the college on Thursday, May 8.

Boys Like Girls Played at ASC

On Thursday, April 10, 2008, the band Boys Like Girls played to over 1,100 students at the Orvis Gymnasium on the Alfred State College campus.
Baseball Cancelled for Thursday

Due to poor weather earlier in the spring Lakeland (OH) CC has been forced to cancel its contest with Alfred State on Thursday. The Lakers have been forced to make-up earlier conference rainouts. No make-up date has been announced.
Pioneers suffer first Region III defeat

The Alfred State College lacrosse team fell 17-6 to Monroe CC in the first ever night contest at the new on-campus athletic complex. The Pioneers see their five game winning streak come to an end and suffer their first Region III loss. The Blue and Gold are now 6-2 (5-1 Region III) while the Tribunes improve to 6-4.
Lady Pioneers split with Niagara

The Alfred State College softball team split a doubleheader with Niagara CCC on Tuesday evening. The Blazers won the opener 9-3 but the Lady Pioneers bounced back to win the nightcap 10-7. ASC is now 8-10 on the season and 5-4 in Region III Division III play.
