Alfred State College’s (ASC) construction supervision program is highlighted in the latest edition of the Building the Southern Tier, the official publication of the Builders Exchange of the Southern Tier.

Matt DiRado, Jeff Hellwig, and Andrea Williamson were named the recipients of the Advising Excellence award at Alfred State’s annual Recognition Celebration.

Alfred State College (ASC) architecture major AJ Gartland (Irondequoit) has won the Edward Allen Student Award given annually by the Building Technology Educators’ Society (BTES).

Alfred State College (ASC) students Emma Bower (Fillmore) and Halimat Akanbi (Ozone Park) have won the 2022 Vanguard Award. The NET (Nontraditional Employment & Training) program presents the Vanguard Award annually.

Alfred State architecture assistant professor Bryan Toepfer recently had his piece “Architects Need to be Viewed as Value, NOT Expense” featured in the Rochester Business Journal.
