Rashoun Tate (Tuckahoe, NY) has his plans in place as he finishes his degree in healthcare management online at Alfred State.
Rashoun currently works as the lead EKG Technician in the Cardiology Division at Metropolitan Hospital. He transferred into the Alfred State program and was impressed with the process. “Alfred State made me feel welcome and truly cared about me doing well in my classes. They made sure I had a plan to keep my success going. I was able to transfer the maximum allowed number of classes to my degree program. It made my time at Alfred State even faster to graduate.”
The support of his academic advisers has been a plus to his experience. “My adviser and counselors all are so helpful and kind. They helped me pave my road to success in each class and kept checking on me every two weeks to make sure everything was going the way we planned.”

Rashoun advises others that are looking to complete their degree online to stay focused and driven. “Time goes by so quickly. Before you know it, you will be jumping for joy for your last semester and walking down with a cap and gown.”
Closing in on graduation, he is excited to continue his career. “My plans are already in place. I have three jobs lined up already and am just waiting for my degree to make it official with a promotion and raise.”
