Diagnostic medical sonography

Madison enjoys being able to learn something new every day in her program, especially when it comes to working with the scanning equipment.

Madison Krezenski always knew she wanted to pursue a career in sonography.

After doing some research, she decided to enroll in Alfred State’s diagnostic medical sonography program, which offers small class sizes, knowledgeable faculty, and plenty of hands-on learning opportunities. Without a doubt, Madison knows that she made the right choice.

“I love it here. I really enjoy what I do and with the education I’m getting and the guidance of these professionals, I know I picked the right program for myself.”

Madison enjoys being able to learn something new every day in her program, especially when it comes to working with the scanning equipment. She notes that her curriculum includes a three-hour lab each week, as well as an additional six hours of outside lab time and clinical experiences.

Plus, the professors, Madison says, are there to help you every step of the way.

“The guidance they give and the fact that they want you to succeed is very helpful, and with the smaller classroom setting, they can give that personal attention to you.”

Madison highly recommends Alfred State’s diagnostic medical sonography program to anyone who is considering it.

“If you want to do ultrasound, this is the place to be.”
