Liberal arts and sciences: math and science

Bryce appreciates that Alfred State has a small, friendly environment.

Like many students entering college, Bryce Warren was uncertain as to what school and major were right for him.

Once he took a tour of Alfred State, however, Bryce made up his mind about where he wanted to go.

“I really felt at home. I felt like I belong here. No other college has been that way.”

Still undecided about his career path, Bryce initially enrolled in Alfred State’s undeclared program, then switched to liberal arts and sciences: math and science. While he is still figuring out exactly what career is right for him, Bryce knows he is now on the right track.

“I’m still not too sure what I want to do, but I know I want to do something involving math or science. It’s more experimenting with more focus.”

In addition to helping him find the right career path, Bryce also appreciates that Alfred State has a small, friendly environment.

“I like that it’s a small campus, the teachers get to know you, and that you can easily walk to all of your classes from whatever building you’re in.”

Bryce definitely feels that Alfred State has helped him shape his future.

“Now, I’m more focused on what I want to do.”
