The Digital Media and Animation department at Alfred State will host their annual Senior Showcase on Friday, May 9 at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public and will be held in Harris Hall (Engineering Technology Building Room 215).
“This year’s DMA seniors have created some fantastic work” commented DMA Associate Professor Jennie Thwing. “We are excited to have the public celebrate our student’s hard work. The public is in for some refreshingly fun projects.”

The event showcases the senior thesis projects from baccalaureate program students. The projects were produced over one semester and include animations, films, and animation preproduction works. A select number of works done by sophomores and juniors will be shown. Students in the Motion Graphics class created bumpers for the event.

Seniors in Graphic & Media Design and Game and Interactive Design will be showcasing their projects in the Bret Lewellyn Gallery (SET 312). The official opening will be held on April 30 at Noon. The show which will feature artwork, posters, and games will run until May 10.
