Wolfe and Henry advance to IHSA Semifinals

Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) and Jordan Henry (Little Valley) led the Alfred State western equestrian team with strong showings at the IHSA Western Regionals to earn spots in the semifinals.

Wolfe, a first-year student, rode to reserve Hi-point honors in open horsemanship to earn a spot in the semifinal round. She also earned Hi-point rider for the region which earns her a spot at the National Individual Championships. Her performance in both the open horsemanship and reining competition sends her to Mill Spring, NC (May 3 – 5).

Henry will join Wolfe at the IHSA semifinals at Albion College (Albion, MI) after riding to reserve Hi-point honors in beginner horsemanship. The pair will compete on March 23 and 24.

Abby Thomas (Lawrenceville, PA) rode to a seventh-place finish in the beginner horsemanship competition.
