appeared on Rochester's 13 WHAM-TV recently to discuss his involvement in the
Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) conference held late last month. The
interview allowed Anderson to delineate the four focus areas for this year's
conference: education, energy and climate change, global health, and
poverty alleviation. He also credited the hundreds of global
leaders-political and business leaders, philanthropists, and entertainers whose
sincere involvement in these issues has helped the CGI raise over $25 billion
in four years. Anderson also noted that as a result of this conference,
he is exploring new ways for Alfred State College students and the expertise
their professors possess can contribute to these focus areas.
