on a revision of The Complete Court Reporter's Handbook and Guide for
Realtime Writers

She
and retired Alfred State College professor Robert W. McCormick collaborated on
this fifth edition of the textbook originally written by Mary H. Knapp, which
updates the information on technology, expands the captioning section, adds
information re: CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation), adds sections
on alternative careers and entrepreneurship, and expands the information on
judicial law as well as what to expect in the courtroom.

Blake,
of Cuba, teaches senior court reporting students in addition to online courses
in the court reporting program.  Prior to joining the ASC faculty, Blake
served as secretary to the Cuba First Baptist church, as a head cashier and
cashier trainer at the Cuba Giant Food Mart, and as a data entry operator and
computer operator at Acme Electric in Cuba.

Blake
holds an associate in applied science degree in court and realtime reporting
and a bachelor's degree in technology management, both from Alfred State
College.

The
Cuba Central School graduate is the daughter of Richard and Alice Stolberg,
Cuba, and mother of Emily, Amanda, and Olivia.
