One of Kyra’s favorite aspects of her program is the faculty.
Kyra Hancock has been passionate about reading and writing for many years.
That passion drew her to Alfred State’s liberal arts and sciences: humanities program. Through this major, Kyra has enhanced her writing and communication skills, as well as her knowledge about the English language itself.
Kyra realizes that being able to write and communicate well is something that is necessary for any type of field.
“It’s something that’s universally beneficial no matter what program you are in.”
One of Kyra’s favorite aspects of her program is the faculty.
“The professors get really passionate about what they teach and I love it because it inspires other students to get excited about it, too.”
Another great quality of the program is that it allows students to take a wide range of classes so that they can determine what career path best aligns with their interests. As Kyra notes, the program “can give you a little bit of everything.”
In addition to her major, Kyra also loves Alfred State because of its environment.
“The atmosphere is very friendly.”
