Mark teaches Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, and Money & Banking. He teaches in the online and traditional formats.
Mark served in the U.S. Army from 1999 until 2007 including two tours of duty in Iraq. He worked as a network engineer for Northrup Grumman and the US Space and Naval Warfare Command before returning to school to pursue his degrees in economics. While pursuing his Ph.D., Mark taught several courses for Orange Coast College, California State University - Fullerton, and the University of California, Irvine. He received a teaching assistantship, research assistantship, and pedagogical fellowship while at UC Irvine. Mark joined Alfred State College in August 2015 and became the Business Department Chair in July 2022.
Mark's research interests include game theory, experimental economics, and social choice theory.
