Dan Foley (Irondequoit), Travis Brannen (Elmira Free), and Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) were recently named to the All-Region III Division II team.  The trio helped the Pioneers to a 17-14 mark and a trip to the regional final four.

Dan Foley (Irondequoit), Travis Brannen (Elmira Free), and Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) were recently named to the All-Region III Division II team.  The trio helped the Pioneers to a 17-14 mark and a trip to the regional final four.

Foley was a first team selection after a solid all-around season.  He scored 401 points (13.8 per game), grabbed 307 rebounds (10.6 per game), passed out 151 assists (5.2 per game), was credited with 50 steals, and 34 blocks.  He finished the season with 13 double-doubles and two triple-doubles.

Foley scored a season high 23 points versus Finger Lakes, grabbed a season high 19 rebounds versus Medaille JV, and passed out a season high 12 assists versus Medaille.

Brannen, a second team selection, was a force down low for the Pioneers.  He scored a team high 458 points in 29 games (15.8 average).  He also grabbed 259 rebounds (8.9 per game) and registered 86 blocks (3 per game).  He was also credited with 51 assists and 24 steals.  Brannen recorded double-doubles in nine games and scored in double figures in 25 of the 29 games he played in, including 17 of the teams 18 games in 2009.

Brannen had a season high 42 points on 19 for 26 shooting and grabbed a season high 17 rebounds in a road victory at Mercyhurst North East.

Wilson earned an honorable mention selection after averaging 14.7 points per game (457 total), 3.5 rebounds (109 total), and 2.3 assists (71 total).  He led the team with 55 made three-pointers (shooting 40.4%).  He recorded double-digits in scoring in 22 games and scored 20 or more in nine games.

Wilson recorded a season high 30 points in the Pioneers Region III Division II tournament first round win at Jamestown CC.  In that game he was 8 for 10 from three.

Foley and Brannen will move on to NCAA competition next season while Wilson is expected to anchor the 2009-10 squad.
