The Alfred State College baseball team's fall season came to an end following a 3-1 loss to Niagara CCC in the WNYAC Tournament 1st round.  The Pioneers wrap up the fall with a 4-11, 3-10 WNYAC, record.

The Alfred State College baseball team's fall season came to an end following a 3-1 loss to Niagara CCC in the WNYAC Tournament 1st round.  The Pioneers wrap up the fall with a 4-11, 3-10 WNYAC, record.

The Pioneers were held to just two hits both by Andrew Alexander (LeRoy) who finished 2 for 3 on the day. 

Niagara took a 1-0 lead in the 1st but ASC tied it up when Anthony Espe (Union Endicott) drove home Dennis Dueno (Brooklyn/Bishop Ford) on a push bunt.

The Thunderwolves took the lead for good in the 4th with a single run and added an insurance run in the 8th.

Tyler Mann (Holland Patent) tossed eight solid innings allowing no earned runs on three hits.  He walked two and struck out four.

The blue & gold return to action in the middle of March when they travel to Florida for their annual spring trip.
