Cross Country Teams Debut in Top Ten

The Alfred State College cross country teams have yet to compete but both the men and women's teams are ranked in the first NJCAA Division III poll of the year.  The men are ranked #2 while the women are ranked #8.

The Alfred State College cross country teams have yet to compete but both the men and women's teams are ranked in the first NJCAA Division III poll of the year.  The men are ranked #2 while the women are ranked #8.

On the men's side, SUNY Delhi is ranked #1 followed by ASC.  Gloucester (NJ) CC is #3, Mohawk Valley #4, and Suffolk County CC is #5.

Ocean (NJ) CC is ranked #1 on the women's side followed by three Region III schools, Mohawk Valley, SUNY Delhi, and Broome CC.

The Pioneers have two preseason scrimmages (9/1 - Tour de Alfred and 9/4 - Alumni Race) this week before opening up their regular season on September 11th at the annual ASC Inviational.
