Three Alfred State College surveying engineering technology students were recently recognized by the U.S. Department of the Interior-Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Santa Fe Office for their exemplary work and willingness to learn while filling surveying internship requirements through that entity.

Nate Belson, Ripley; Dustin Fiebelkorn, Friendship; and Pat Vanhaverbeke, Wellsville, each received the Star Award in recognition of the quality surveying services they provided during their internship.  Belson and Fiebelkorn are seniors in the baccalaureate-level surveying engineering technology program; Vanhaverbeke is enrolled in the associate-level surveying engineering technology program.
