The organization named the college to its list of top out-of-state public schools in the US, and has also ranked Alfred State among 50 institutions with the most affordable online bachelor’s degrees.

University Police at Alfred State reaccredited

While awards and honors aren’t why the officers of the University Police Department at Alfred State do their job, they do provide a testament to the quality of safety and security that these men and women in uniform provide every day on campus. The most recent acknowledgement of this came from the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), who granted the department’s reaccreditation earlier this month.

Business Department granted candidacy for accreditation

New students lend a helping hand to local community

A total of 16 projects took place in five areas this year – Alfred, Almond, Belmont, Hornell, and Wellsville. The projects ranged from exterior and interior painting at Hornell Area Concern for Youth, to moving and organizing book collections at the David A. Howe Public Library, to screen printing with the Alfred Farmers Market, and more.
New Locker Room Facility at Pioneer Stadium

The facility features three locker room spaces. The largest space has over 100 lockers, showers, restrooms, and a laundry room while on the other side of the building there are a pair of identical locker rooms with 30 lockers, showers, and restrooms.
