Here at Alfred State, we have veterans who teach, work, and learn here! Today and every day we thank these Pioneers for their service.
Today at 11:50 a.m., the Hinkle Bell Tower will play the Armed Forces Medley in honor of all Veterans.
Tonight, we will host a dinner in the Allegany Room to honor veterans on both our campus and at Alfred University.
On this and every Veterans Day it is important to remember that the freedoms we enjoy are not guaranteed. They are and have been protected by the men and women in our Armed Services. I ask that our community takes time to reflect on all the great men and women that have served and remember to thank them for their efforts on our behalf.
