Alfred State College’s own Stephen Richard and Courtney DeRusha are donating their expertise, time, and energy to a project involved the restoration of the Langdon/Clemens family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Located in Elmira, the plot is the final resting place of famous author Mark Twain, whose real name was Samuel Clemens. Richard is an associate professor in ASC’s Building Trades Department and DeRusha is a masonry major from Corning.
