Members of the Gamma Theta Gamma fraternity are transforming their house at 52 N. Main St. in Alfred Tuesday and Wednesday into a haunted house as a fundraiser.

According to GTG Vice President Richie Dean, a mechanical engineering technology major from Palymyra, the house will be geared more toward younger visitors and their families earlier on in the evening. As the night wears on, however, the GTG members “like to step it up (for the college students) and give more of a scare.”

The haunted house will be open from 6-11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, and from 6 p.m. to midnight on Halloween. Admission is $5.
