Competing in outdoor track & field, Streater earned All-Region III 1st team honors and 1st team NJCAA All-American honors in the high jump.

Temple is coming off the program's best season since 1979.  The Owls, coached by Al Golden, finished 2009 with a 9-4 record and played in their first bowl game, the EagleBank Bowl, in the last 30 years.

Streater selected Temple over Rutgers and Syracuse.
