Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) was the top male finisher. He finished Genesee Valley Park's 8K course in 28:02 to earn 55th place. Corey Smith (Wallkill) finished 86th (29:14), Sam Estes (Wheatland Chili) finished 94th (29:40), and Josh Schmidbauer (Royalton-Hartland) finished 100th (29:50).
150 athletes and 13 team compete in the race. Allegany College (PA) won the competition with a score of 28.
Rhea Cosay (White River, AZ) was the top female ASC finisher. She finished the 5K course in 21:00 to earn 67th place. Jen Chan (Genesee Valley) finished 121st (22:45) and Sarah Sylvestor (Clarence) finished 128th (23:21).
164 athletes finished the race and 15 teams competed. Western Ontario University won the competition with a score of 17.
The Pioneers have a week off before returning to action on Saturday October 27 at the Region III Championships at SUNY Delhi.
