Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts
programs at the School of Applied Technology of Alfred State College will
prepare a holiday buffet on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building
on the Wellsville campus.

Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts
programs at the School of Applied Technology of Alfred State College will
prepare a holiday buffet on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building
on the Wellsville campus. Cost is $15 (all inclusive) per person.
Children 10 and under can eat for $7. Proceeds will benefit the Top Hat
Scholarship Fund and club activities.

The menu prepared by culinary arts students
will offer pumpkin bisque and roasted vegetable soup, grilled fruit platter and
other assorted salads, stuffed turkey and steamship round, orange cranberry
sauce, twice-baked and sweet potatoes.

Culinary arts/baking, production and
management students will provide assorted rolls and muffins to accompany the dinner
as well as a full dessert bar. A choice of beverages will round out the menu.

Student general manager for this event
is Chelsea Garrison, Wellsville, third-year baking intern (She has already
earned an associate's degree in culinary arts and has returned for a second
degree in baking, production and management.).
Kitchen manager is culinary arts senior Kristina
Walton, Bliss. Serving as
front-of-the-house manager is culinary senior Megan Barber, Arcade.

Santa will also be present for the
festivities with give-a-ways for the children.

This dinner is open to the public; no
reservations will be accepted. Payment must be made by cash or check
