The Pioneers got on the board less than three minutes into the game when Jeff Glomb (Buffalo/St. Francis) connected with Pat White (Warren, OH) on a 78 yard passing play.  Ten minutes later, Glomb hit Rod Streater (Burlington, NJ) with a 20 yard scoring pass play.

Buffalo State got on the board two minutes into the 2nd quarter to cut it to 13-7 but Glomb and White connected on a 63 yard scoring play just 20 seconds later.  Xavier Makell (Baltimore, MD) capped the first half scoring with just over two minutes remaining when he scampered in from 53 yards out.

Dae'Shaune Clark (Buffalo/Williamsville) got in the scoring act with 2:31 remaining in the 3rd quarter when he caught a 80 yard touchdown pass from Glomb to give the Pioneers their biggest lead of the night.

The JV Bengals answered right back with a quick scoring drive but once again the Pioneers got a big play to extend the lead.  With 12:12 remaining in the game Quintin McKenzie (Euclid, OH) returned a punt 53 yards for a score.
