ASC's Office of Communications Recipient of Three Awards

Alfred State College's Office of
Communications has been notified that it was named a recipient of three awards
in the 24th  Annual Admissions Advertising Awards Competition,
sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report publication. Winning
entries were the Alfred State College total recruitment package (gold); Alfred
State College direct mail advertising visit post card (merit); and Alfred State
College Web site (merit).

Communications has been notified that it was named a recipient of three awards
in the 24th  Annual Admissions Advertising Awards Competition,
sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report publication. Winning
entries were the Alfred State College total recruitment package (gold); Alfred
State College direct mail advertising visit post card (merit); and Alfred State
College Web site (merit).

Entries were judged
by a national panel of admissions' marketers, advertising creative directors,
marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of Admissions
Marketing Report
for overall creativity, marketing execution, and impact of
message.

The college competed among private and public universities across the United
States in the Business, Trade/Vocational School classification.

The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards
competition in the country.  This year, 2,000 entries were received from
more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50
states and several foreign countries.

Admissions Marketing Report has been for 25 years the
nation's leading marketing publication for higher education. The monthly
publication is in its 25th year and is read each month by thousands
of admissions marketers at colleges and universities throughout the country.
Recently the publication was renamed Higher Education Marketing Report
to more appropriately reflect the expanding role of marketers at colleges
and universities.
