Now more than ever, given rising tuition costs and a tight economy, academic scholarships to high-achieving students entering the engineering field play an important support role for the recipients.  This year, 16 students in New York State colleges and universities received American Council of Engineering Companies of New York scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000.
