Architecture students present design ideas to the Town of Friendship

Alfred State College (ASC) architecture students in Design Studio 5 presented comprehensive plans to reimagine the Town of Friendship. Three groups of students worked for eight weeks and presented their concepts and ideas to interested members of the community at Friendship Central School. Read Article

Marketing students meet with professionals in industry

Alfred State marketing students enrolled in the BBA & AAS programs hit the road to interact and learn from professionals in industry. The real-world experiences brought lessons learned in the classroom to life.

Recently a group of thirteen marketing and graphic design students traveled to Rochester to take part in networking opportunities with the Linden Digital Marketing and the American Marketing Association (AMA) Rochester group.

Students present Drinking Water Treatment plans to Allegany County Department of Health

Six groups of Alfred State students majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, and Architecture participated in a hands-on learning showcase in their Environmental Tech Concepts class. The students presented their drinking water treatment plans and posters to representatives from the Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH).
