Topcon Positioning Systems Host Demonstration and Donate Equipment

The College purchased plants using a $1,000 donation by BP (British Petroleum), which was made on behalf of AR, a BP-affiliated company. BP employees and consultants from the project joined the College in the planting effort. Read Article

Honors Program “How (Not) to Kill Your Car”

Mike Ronan, Alfred State College associate professor, Automotive Trades, School of Applied Technology, hosted a seminar for Alfred State Honors Program members at the senior auto shop in April. Ronan, a certified Rolls-Royce mechanic and transmission specialist, explained “How (Not) to Kill Your Car” and demonstrated common, often costly mistakes car owners commit. Read Article

Commencement To Be Held Sunday, May 16

Nearly 900 two- and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends will be on hand Sunday, May 16 at noon, as Alfred State College honors its 99th graduating class. Commencement exercises are scheduled to be held at McLane Center on neighboring Alfred University campus.
