Andy Omoregie (Gates Chili) and Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) each earned All-American status on day two of the NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Alfred State College freshman Reaghan Bulkley (Avoca) earned 2nd place in the long jump to highlight day one of the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.  The women's team has scored 14 points and sits in 4th place while the men have 18 points and are in 5th place. Read Article

Softball ends season with a sweep

The Alfred State College softball team got the bats going as they swept Alfred University JV, 18-10 & 10-1, to wrap up the 2008 season.  With the wins the Blue and Gold finish Head Coach Michael Caba's first season with a 10-28 record. Read Article

Blue and Gold finish as Regional Runner-Up

The Alfred State College men's outdoor track and field team finished as the Region III runner-up at this weekend's Region III Championships held at Alfred State.  The Pioneers scored 160 points and finished 35.5 points behind Region III Champion SUNY Cobleskill. Read Article

The Alfred State College women's outdoor track and field team finished 5th at the Region III Championships held at Alfred State College this weekend.  The Lady Pioneers scored 92 points during the two day event. Read Article

Pioneers season comes to end after heartbreaking loss

Monroe CC scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to erase a one-run deficit and win 8-7 over Alfred State in a Region III Division II Tournament contest.  With the loss the Pioneers season comes to an end with a 23-15-1 record while the Tribunes are one win from the Regional title. Read Article

The Alfred State College track and field team had three individual event winners in day one action at the Region III Championships.  The men's team is currently sitting in 1st place out of the seven teams while the women are in 4th. Read Article

Saints Rally to Down A-State

The Mercyhurst North East baseball team scored three runs in the top of the 9th inning to rally for a 4-3 victory over Alfred State in a Region III Division II Tournament contest.  The Pioneers fall to 23-14-1 on the year and will now face a must win contest versus #1 seed Monroe CC on Saturday afternoon beginning at Noon.
