Lady Pioneers rally past NCCC

The Alfred State College volleyball team rallied to win the final two games and down Niagara CCC 3-2 (23-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 15-7) in a WNYAC battle in Sanborn on Tuesday evening.  ASC, ranked #9 in the last NJCAA Division III poll, improves to 11-1 while NCCC, ranked #10 in the NJCAA DIII poll, falls to 7-2. The Alfred State College women's soccer team recorded their third straight victory with a 4-1 come-from-behind victory over Genesee CC on Tuesday afternoon.  The Pioneers improve to 5-2 (4-2 Region III Division III, 3-0 WNYAC) with the win while the Cougars fall to 1-9-1. Read Article

Johnson Named Region Athlete of the Week

Alfred State College running back DeAndre Johnson (Detroit, MI) has been named the Region III male athlete of the week following his first 100-yard rushing game of his collegiate career.  Johnson helped the Pioneers to a 33-0 victory over Williamson College on Saturday. Read Article
