High School Mini Visitations at Alfred State College

Pioneers shut out Mechanics

The Alfred State College football team shut out Williamson College 33-0 in their first road test of the 2008 season.  With the victory the Blue & Gold improve to 2-1 (0-1 NFC) while the Mechanics fall to 1-1. Read Article

Spoor scores twice to lead women's soccer to victory

Alfred State women's soccer defeated Jamestown CC 3-0 Friday evening to improve their record to 4-2 on the season. Read Article

Cross Country Sweeps FLCC Invitational

Both the men's and women's cross country teams at Alfred State College finished on top of the leaderboard at the Finger Lakes CC Bruce Bridgeman Invitational.  The men won by 13 points while the women won by five. Read Article

Alfred State improves to 6-2

The Alfred State College men's soccer team got back on track with a 6-0 victory over Corning CC on Thursday afternoon.  The Pioneers, ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, improve to 6-2, 6-1 Region III Division III play. Read Article

"Viva Italia" Spaghetti Dinner, Oct. 9

The Culinary Arts Department, School of Applied Technology, Alfred State College, will hold a "Viva Italia" spaghetti dinner in the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus, Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5-7 p.m.  Read Article

John Garippa, associate professor, Automotive Trades Department, Alfred State College, was recently named the 2008 Educator of the Year at the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) conference held recently at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.  Read Article

The Automotive Trades Department of Alfred State College (Wellsville Campus), in conjunction with Tenneco, is sponsoring a "Drive and Ride" event on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Wellsville Campus.  This event is open to the public free of charge. Read Article
