Dr. John M. Anderson, president, Alfred State College, has joined a growing list of higher education leaders committed to fighting global warming. Earlier this week, Anderson agreed to sharply reducing and eventually eliminating all of the college’s global warming emissions, and accelerating the research and educational efforts to equip society to re-stabilize the earth’s climate.

The Alfred State College Drama Club will present the play Extremities, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20, at 7 p.m. in the Orvis Auditorium on the Alfred campus. The play is open to the public free of charge; no tickets are necessary. The play is rated “R” for strong sexual situations, language, and violence, and is not be suitable for children under 17.
