Tracksters Fare Well at Susquehanna

The Alfred State College indoor track and field team fared well as they competed with 17 different colleges at the Susquehanna Invitational on Saturday. Read Article

Trailing 61-58 with four and half minutes left in the game, the Alfred State College men's basketball team went on a 12-0 run to close out the contest to win their fifth straight contest, 70-61 over Niagara CCC. The Pioneers improve to 13-10 overall and 5-4 in WNYAC play. Read Article

Brooks' 31 leads Lady Pioneers past NCCC

Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) netted 31 points as the Alfred State College women's basketball team defeated a fiesty Niagara CCC 72-65 in Sanborn on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers are now 9-10 overall on the season and 4-3 in Region III Division II contests. Read Article

The Alfred State College men's basketball team shot 48% from beyond the three-point arc in a 80-63 WNYAC road victory at Genesee CC. The Pioneers have won four straight and improve to 12-10 overall and 4-4 in WNYAC action. Read Article

Genesee CC shot 48% from the field as they knocked off the Alfred State women's basketball team 106-54 in a WNYAC match-up on Thursday. The Lady Pioneers fall to 8-10 overall and 3-3 in Region III Division II games. Read Article

Alfred State College freshman Wenley Louis (Irondequoit) has been named the Region III male athlete of the week. Louis had a solid performance at the Colgate Class of '32 Invitational over the weekend. Read Article

The Alfred State College men's basketball used a 29-0 run en route to a 87-58 victory over the JV squad from Ithaca College. The Pioneers have won three straight and are 11-10 on the season. Read Article

Speaker Named Pre-Season Baseball All-American

Alfred State College sophomore infielder Derek Speaker (Starpoint) has been named to the NJCAA Division II Pre-season All-American 1st team. Speaker is the only representative of Region III in the any of the three teams. Read Article
