Lady Pioneer Comeback Falls Short

The Alfred State College women's basketball team couldn't come back from a first half deficit and fell 64-50 to Finger Lakes CC on Tuesday.  FLCC used a 17-0 run in the last seven minutes of the half to lead 31-17 and held off a Lady Pioneer second half rally that closed the gap to four points.  Read Article

Brooks Named Region Athlete of the Week

Alfred State College women's basketball player Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) has been named the Region III female athlete of the week.  Brooks led her team to the championship of the ASC Tournament with victories over Jefferson CC, 63-45, and Dean College, 76-69. Read Article

Alfred State runners finished in 8th place out of 17 teams at the NJCAA Half Marathon National Championship this past weekend at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. Read Article

Pioneers win Consolation Game

Pioneers Lose in Final Seconds

Chris Noel connected on two foul shots with just over 10 seconds remaining to lift Jefferson CC to a 75-74 victory over Alfred State in the first round of the ASC Tournament.  Jefferson will take on Rockland CC, 82-67 winner over Dean College, on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the championship game.
