The Alfred State College men's swimming team finished the four-day NJCAA National Championship in 7th place. The blue and gold racked up 193 points. Indian River (FL) CC continued their dominance in the pool by repeating as national champion.

Her teammate and cousin Sherelle Brooks (Elmira Free) was also honored with a honorable All-Region selection. Brittney Brooks becomes the second straight Lady Pioneer to earn the player of the year honor (Anthia Smith - 2008).

The Alfred State College men's basketball team fell behind by twenty and tried to rally but fell 88-73 to Monroe CC in the Region III Division II Tournament semifinals. Monroe connected was 8 for 15 from three in the first half to take control of the game.

The Alfred State College rallied from a 16-point second half deficit to tie the game at 48-48 with 4:30 remaining but Erie CC finished the game on a 16-5 run to advance to the Region III Division II Final Four. The Lady Pioneers close out the season with a 10-14 mark while the Lady Kats improve to 15-12 and will take on #1 seeded Genesee CC.
