Volleyball player Amanda Bush (Altoona, PA) was awarded both the Alfred State Athletic Department female academic and leadership awards while Thomas Anderson (Sodus) was named the male academic award winner and Rory Spain (Tully) was the recipient of the male leadership award. Read Article

Moore Inducted into Hall of Fame

Longtime cross country and track & field coach Gary Moore was inducted into the NJCAA Division III Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame this past weekend. Moore was inducted in a ceremony during the 2012 Outdoor Track & Field Championships that were held at Pioneer Stadium. Read Article

Pioneer Men 3rd, Women 4th at Track Nationals

Alfred State had a strong showing at the 2012 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. The men's team finished 3rd out of 20 teams that competed while the women were 4th out of 21 teams. Pioneer athletes won five events and earned All-American status in eight total events. Mohawk Valley and Harper Win National Titles

The Mohawk Valley CC women's team and the Harper College men's team clinched NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship titles on Saturday during day three of competition at Pioneer Stadium on the campus of Alfred State. MVCC ran away with the title while Harper edged up SUNY Delhi by five points. Read Article

Mohawk Valley and Delhi Lead After Day Two of Track Nationals

The Mohawk Valley CC women's team continues to lead while the SUNY Delhi men's team leads after day two of the 2012 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Pioneer Stadium on the campus of Alfred State. MVCC has a 13 points lead over Gloucester County College after nine events scored while Delhi has a four point lead over Harper College after ten events. Read Article
