Court Reporting Instructor Transcribes Historical Account by Area WWII Veteran

Green transcribed Gerling’s oral account using the state-of-the art tools of court reporting professionals. The account was simultaneously transcribed and videotaped while Gerling was interviewed by his daughter, Professor Sandra Gerling-Yelle (Business Department). Read Article

Kickball Tournament to Benefit Hornell Concern for Youth, April 20

The tournament will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park (James Street Park). Participating teams represent local police and fire personnel, college students, and fraternal organizations. Read Article

Students Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to Host Pancake Breakfast, March 2

Twelve Alfred State students who will be spending spring break in Horry County, SC, building houses as part of Habitat for Humanity's Collegiate Challenge program are raising funds for the trip, including $3,000 for materials and building supplies for the house construction. Read Article
