Student Wins “Head of the Class” Award

Hoover to Present at New Horizons Forum Nov. 16

Alfred State Equestrians Crowned Champions

The Alfred State College Western Equestrian Club Team won the grand championship at its first Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) show of the 2011 season (Oct. 22). The newly formed team tied with Cornell for top honors in the intercollegiate riding event held at Alfred University’s Bromley-Daggett Equestrian Center. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Win Cross Country National Championships

The Alfred State College women's cross country raced to the NJCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday in Westfield, MA.  The national championship is the second in the progams history and first since 2003. Read Article

ASME and SME Hosted Cardboard Boat Competition

The Alfred State College student chapters of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineering (SME) recently hosted a cardboard boat competition. Competition rules required each boat to be constructed entirely of cardboard and held together by no more than one roll of duct tape. Read Article
