The Alfred State College softball team fell in both halves of a doubleheader as they continued play at Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The Lady Pioneers (0-4) fell 2-1 in the opener to Rochester (MN) CTC and then fell 11-2 to Southwestern (IA) CC. Read Article

The Alfred State College baseball team recorded their first win of the 2008 season on Sunday afternoon in a 5-4 victory over Ridgewater (MN) CC.  The team is now 1-3 on the year. Read Article

The Alfred State College baseball team opens up their 2008 season this week as they head south for their annual trip to Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers were 10-6 during the Fall season and were 48-16 during the 2006-07 school year. Read Article

Swimming National Championship Blog

Alfred State College swimmers Kailtyn Corbett (Clarence) and Becca Mastasio (Livonia) combined to write a blog entry each day as the Pioneers competed in the NJCAA National Championships in Fort Pierce, FL.  The men's team won the non-scholarship championship while the women's team finished in 9th place. Men win Non-Scholarship Title, Women finish 9th overall

The Alfred State College men's swimming team won the non-scholarship title at the NJCAA National Championships.  The Pioneers racked up 233 points to top the non-scholarship schools and finish 5th overall.  The women scored 82 points to finish 9th out of 15 teams.  Read Article
