Alfred State College swimmers Kailtyn Corbett (Clarence) and Becca Mastasio (Livonia) combined to write a blog entry each day as the Pioneers competed in the NJCAA National Championships in Fort Pierce, FL. The men's team won the non-scholarship championship while the women's team finished in 9th place.

At the Nationals, he advanced to the semifinals before falling in a tough match but rebounded to earn 5th place and become the A-State's 27th all-time NJCAA All-American.

Dusty Marshall (Newfield) was named All-Region 1st team and All-WNYAC 1st team while Travis Brannen (Elmira Free) was a 3rd team selection to both the All-Region and All-WNYAC teams. Dan Foley (Irondequoit) and Pat White (Warren, OH) were both selected honorable mention All-WNYAC.
