Alfred State Falls to Erie

The Alfred State College football team never could get their offense going and fell 24-6 to Erie CC in a Northeast Football Conference contest played in very windy conditions in Orchard Park. ECC clinches a spot in the Region III Championship game and improves to 5-2 (3-2 NFC) on the year while ASC falls to 3-5 (0-3 NFC). Read Article

Humphrey Fellowship Program

Alfred State College, in conjunction with Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, is participating in the Humphrey Fellowship program, which brings to the United States accomplished mid-level professionals from designated countries that have a wide range of development needs.  Read Article

Arbor Project Outside Admin Building

Unseasonably mild autumn weather allowed Alfred State College Building Trades students to complete work on "the arbor project," a beautification initiative located next to the Administration Building on the School of Applied Technology campus in Wellsville. Read Article

Braun named NJCAA Setter of the Week

Alfred State College sophomore setter Elaina Braun (Waterloo) of fifth-ranked Lady Pioneers has been named the NJCAA Division III volleyball setter of the week. Braun is the second Lady Pioneer to be honored by NJCAA Volleyball (Jenni Jerome). Read Article

Lady Pioneers fall to Genesee

The Alfred State College volleyball team saw their 17-match winning streak snapped in their WNYAC regular season finale.  Genesee CC improved to 29-12 (6-0 WNYAC) and secured the #1 seed with a 30-13, 30-24, 20-30, 30-19.  Read Article

Pioneers earn #8 Seed

The Alfred State College men's soccer team has earned the #8 seed in the Region III Division III Tournament and will match up with #9 Finger Lakes CC on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in a 1st round contest. Read Article

Cross Counry teams remain #7

Both the men's and women's cross country teams remain ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Pioneers have held the #7 spot in the last three week's of the poll. Read Article

The Alfred State College volleyball team has moved up another spot in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers, 25-2 overall and winners of their last 17 matches, are now #5. Read Article

Lady Pioneers earn #11 seed

The Alfred State College women's soccer team has earned the #11 seed in the Region III Division III Tournament after a 7-7-1 regular season.  The Lady Pioneers will travel to #6 SUNY Delhi (10-4-1) on Saturday for a first round contest at 1 p.m. Read Article

Septh named NJCAA & Region III Athlete of the Week

Alfred State College sophomore wide receiver Mike Septh (Monroe Woodbury) has been named the NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week and the Region III Male Athlete of the Week.  Septh helped the Pioneers to a 27-6 victory over Berean Institute on Saturday. Read Article
