Lady Pioneers Split with Kats

The Alfred State softball team split a doubleheader at Erie CC on Saturday.  The blue & gold won the opener 9-0 but fell 10-1 in the nightcap.  The Lady Pioneers are now 11-15 overall and 8-11 in Region III Division III play. Read Article

Pioneer Woodsmen Team a Force To Be Reckoned With

In late April, the Alfred State College Pioneer Woodsmen’s Club sent two teams, a Men’s and a Jack and Jill, to their second competition, the 64th Annual Spring Meet Conclave at Paul Smith’s College, in Adirondack State Park. The Spring Meet is the collegiate woodsmen’s equivalent of the Super Bowl. Read Article

Pioneers and Saints Split

Alfred State and Mercyhurst North East split a Region III Division II doubleheader on Thursday.  The Saints won a wild opener 11-9 while the Pioneers used a strong pitching performance to win game two, 8-1. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Downed by Corning

The Alfred State College softball team fell 11-5 and 8-0 to Corning CC in their regular season home finale.  The losses were the first this season at home and drop ASC to 10-14 (7-10 Region III Division III). Read Article

Employees Participate in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day

Alfred State College employees once again participated in the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day in April. This event is open to employees’ children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews between the ages of nine and 15; this year, 25 children participated. Read Article

BCC Sweeps Past Lady PIoneers
