The Alfred State College volleyball team will be the #2 seed in this weekend's Western New York Athletic Conference tournament. The single elimination tournament will be played at the Orvis Activities Center on Saturday.
The Lady Pioneers were 4-2 in WNYAC play and have earned a double-bye in the tournament. ASC enters the tournament with a 24-8 mark and a ten match winning streak.

WNYAC Tournament action begins at 9:30 a.m. with #6 Jamestown CC taking on #7 Erie CC. At 11:30 a.m., #4 Niagara CC takes on #5 Mercyhurst North East while #3 Monroe CC battles with the winner of the Jamestown/Erie CC. The semifinals of the tournament are scheduled to start at 3 p.m. with #1 Genesee playing the winner of Niagara/Mercyhurst NE match and #2 Alfred State taking on the winner of the other quarterfinal contest. The finals are scheduled for 5 p.m.
All matches of the tournament are best of five with the deciding fifth game played to 15.
