Williams Chosen to Join ABET’s Academic Advisory Council

“Dr. Z.” to Speak on “Companion Animals in Society”

Alfred State College will host “Dr. Z,” aka Dr. Stephen Zawistowski, PhD, CAAB (certified applied animal behaviorist) executive vice president, nation programs science adviser to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, NYC, who will speak on “Companion Animals in Society,” Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, 7 p.m., at the College’s Lake Lodge, Terbury Road, Alfred. His presentation is open to the public free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for local animal shelters. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Earn #4 Seed

The Alfred State College women's soccer team has earned the #4 seed in the Region III Division III Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers will have a bye in the first round and will host a semifinal contest on Tuesday. Read Article

Pioneers Drop Finale

The Alfred State College cross country teams remained in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men's team fell two spots and is now ranked #4 while the women remain ranked #8. Read Article

Lady Spikers Earn #2 Seed for WNYAC Tournament

Lady Spikers defeat Erie in Dig Pink Contest

The Alfred State College volleyball team wrapped up their regular season with a 17-25, 25-7, 25-23, 25-15 victory over Erie CC in their "Dig Pink" contest.  The Pioneers will head into the WNYAC Tournament this weekend with a 24-8 mark and a 4-2 record in WNYAC play. Read Article
