Women Win Swim Opener, Men Fall in Close One

The Alfred State College swim team dove into the 2010-11 season with a strong showing vs. Genesee CC.  The women defeated GCC 87-60 while the GCC men won 100-92. Read Article

Alfred State College women's soccer players Tara Scholla (Genesee Valley) and Holli Pierce (Livonia) have been named All-Region.  Scholla was a 1st team selection while Pierce was named to the 2nd team. Read Article

The Alfred State College men's cross country team remained #4 in the ninth edition of the NJCAA Division III poll while the women drop one spot to #9. Read Article

Dig Pink Event Raises Over $1,200

The Alfred State College volleyball team raised $1,225 with their "Dig Pink" event on Tuesday, October 19th.  The money raised will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation. Read Article

Haines and Dumbleton Named All-Region

Alfred State College sophomore volleyball players Brittany Haines (Salamanca) and Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) have been named All-Region.  Haines was a 1st team selection for the second time while Dumbleton was named 2nd team. Read Article

ASC to Pay Tribute to Veterans and Current Members of United States Armed Forces

Ergo, the student literary magazine, will be available Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Allegany Room of the Central Dining Hall on the Alfred campus. The event, sponsored by the College’s Department of English and Humanities, is open to the public free of charge. Read Article
